Our Philosophy
Mediation Northwest provides solutions to conflict through mediation and facilitation. We specialize in divorce, education, adoption, and workplace conflicts.
We believe in the power of parties determining their fate in a conflict, not a court. Therefore, we provide an affordable venue to address conflict in a productive andresolute manner.
About Julie Armbrust
Julie Gentili Armbrust is President of Mediation Northwest. She is a private mediator and facilitator, practicing attorney and mediation and facilitation trainer. Julie provides mediation and facilitation services throughout the Pacific Northwest and provides mediation and facilitation training throughout the United States.
Julie was recently recognized as one of the top-20-under-40 business leaders in Lane County by The Register-Guard. She is currently the chair for the Lane County Bar Association Family Law Section, is the former treasurer and executive board member of the Oregon State Bar ADR section, the past chair of the Lane County Bar Association’s ADR section, a former board of director on the Oregon Mediation Association’s Board of Directors, and the past co-chair of the Oregon Mediation Association’s Family Interest Mediation Group. Julie has also been a special lecturer on mediation skills at both the University of Oregon School of Law and Willamette Law School.
Julie’s client list includes the Oregon Department of Education, the Nevada Department of Education, the City of Eugene, the City of Salem, Lane County, Nestucca Fire District, International Fire Fighters Association, Pacific Source, the Oregon Department of Human Services, Community Mediation Services, countless school districts through Oregon, Anchorage School District, Henderson School District, Reno School District, Oregon Social Learning Center, Next Step Recycling, birth parents, adoptive parents, divorcing couples, parenting time couples, and many, many other individuals and organizations throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Julie actively volunteers for St. Mary Catholic church, O’Hara Catholic school, and is a member of the Junior League advisory panel.
Julie is the proud mother of two handsome boys and is happily married. Julie is wickedly good at playing Super Mario Brothers with her boys. She enjoys biking, golfing, skiing and cooking. Julie loves, loves, loves, food. . . although she still hasn’t come around to eating sushi, much to her husband’s chagrin.
